Optiflux PVC-O Technology – Strength Through Molecular Orientation

At Optiflux, innovation meets engineering excellence. We have developed and patented an advanced molecular orientation process that transforms conventional PVC into PVC-O (Molecularly Oriented PVC) — a material known for its superior strength, flexibility, and
long-term performance.

The Science Behind the Strength

The Optiflux orientation process involves precisely stretching the molecular chains of PVC
in both axial and circumferential directions under controlled temperature and pressure.
This realignment of polymer molecules produces a highly ordered structure, resulting in
remarkable improvements in tensile and hoop strength, impact resistance, flexibility,
hydraulic efficiency, and resistance to cracking and fatigue.

Patented Indian Technology

Optiflux is proud to be India’s first company to develop and patent a PVC-O manufacturing process capable of producing Class 500 (MRS 50) pipes. Our proprietary blow-molding and stretching technology ensures consistent molecular orientation, precise wall thickness, and superior product integrity.

Sustainability & Efficiency – The Optiflux Advantage

At Optiflux, sustainability is not just an initiative — it’s built into our technology. Our PVC-O molecular orientation process is designed to achieve maximum material efficiency and minimum environmental impact, making it one of the most eco-friendly plastic pipe manufacturing systems in the world.

Efficient by Design

The patented Optiflux process realigns molecular chains to create stronger pipes using less material. By optimizing the orientation ratio, each pipe achieves higher performance with up to 30–40% less PVC resin, directly reducing raw material use and carbon footprint.

  • Reduced material consumption
  • Lower energy usage per meter of pipe
  • Reduced scrap and waste generation

Lightweight, Energy-Saving, and Easy to Handle

Optiflux PVC-O pipes are 30–40% lighter than conventional PVC pipes. This makes them easier to transport, install, and handle — reducing fuel usage, transportation costs, and overall project energy demand.

  • Easier logistics and installation
  • Reduced machinery and manpower
  • Lower project carbon emissions

A Smaller Footprint, A Stronger Future

Our process operates with closed-loop water and air systems, ensuring minimal waste and zero discharge during manufacturing. Combined with our high-efficiency heating and cooling units, Optiflux achieves industry-leading energy performance per ton of output.

  • Eco-efficient production line
  • Recyclable pipe materials
  • Long service life reduces replacement cycles
